Dell has unveiled two new products that will join the Inspiron family - Inspiron One and Inspiron Zino HD. Before you misunderstand, the Inspiron Zino HD is the same Mac Mini like desktop PC but with an Inspiron branding. On the other hand, Inspiron One is the first all-in-one PC to join the Inspiron lineup. Dell has added a special user interface dubbed Dell Stage touchscreen UI for the Inspiron One. Both these Inspiron devices are now available in North America.

The arrival of Dell Inspiron One reminds us that all-in-one PCs are not dead just yet. This all-in-one PC has full HD supporting 23-inch LED-Backlit LCD display that also works as a touchscreen. Inspiron One is a sleek desktop that can be placed in your living room as a multimedia entertainment powerhouse. The widescreen color display of Inspiron One supports 1080p full HD videos and also comes with an option to choose a quad-core processor. The Inspiron One offers HDMI port that can be used to connect it to a larger HD TV for family viewing. Inside the sleek body, Inspiron One packs Wi-Fi, Webcam, and optical DVD drive that can be upgraded to Blu-ray Combo drive.




For adding more fun and increasing productivity with the 23-inch touchscreen bearing Inspiron One, Dell has added a new special Stage user interface. Dell Stage is a user interface that packs in easy-to-use applications like Touch Instruments, You Paint, Sticky Notes and Touch Cam. This Stage UI can be used to organize and view the photos, music and videos existing on the system hard drive or downloaded. However, certain applications that connect users to various video streaming services like Netflix, Blockbuster and others won't be available outside U.S. 


Even social networking capabilities have been added to a few of these applications to share content online over social networking websites. In terms of internal hardware, Inspiron One packs AMD Athlon II X4 processor with 45W TDP rating, up to 8GB DDR3 1333MHz memory, up to 1TB SATA HDD storage, and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 540 graphics card with 1GB dedicated GDDR3 video memory.

Select retailers in U.S. would be selling the Inspiron One at a price starting at $800 (Rs. 36,500 approx.).

The new Inspiron Zino HD is a revised Zino The Inspiron Zino HD will feature new quad-core AMD Phenom II X4 P920 processor along with up to 8GB DDR3 memory. Touted to be mini powerhouse entertainment PC, this Inspiron Zino HD can be hooked to large screen HD TVs. Dell has packed Wi-Fi with 802.11n support, 2.1HD audio of up to 7.1THX suitable for real life-like movie experiences, multimedia card reader, four USB 2.0 ports, two eSATA ports, VGA port, HDMI port and LAN port.

Dell offers wireless keyboard and Infrared Remote Control to enjoy TV or web surfing from anywhere in the living room. If you don't like the standard black lid of Inspiron Zino HD, you can choose one from other three colors. Inspiron Zino HD is available at a price starting at $300 (Rs. 13,700 approx.).

Other configurations of these devices would be available on Dell website later this year.
